I have a 2002 V70 D5 in the UK - my first volvo & a great car and am now working my way thru fixing it's various problems but one so far has proved very difficult - some advice would be great. Can only operate passenger window from switch in the drivers door module – if I use the switch on the passenger door it doesn’t respond at all. I would suspect the PDM BUT the passenger electric mirror adjustment works as does the lock button on the PDM and the external temp sensor works - all of which I would expect to be failed if the PDM had gone down (from what I've read). Stripped PDM down, cleaned rubber mat & contacts at the top of unit and looked over the internals inc. PCBs but saw no blown components / overheating / discoloration etc - as I had it apart I ran a solder iron over the larger connections to reflow them. Put it all back but still as it was before. Tried a UEM reset 3 times (didn’t work) & then disconnected battery for several hours but still no luck. Local Volvo dealer told me the correct PN for a replacement PDM would be 30658117 – this didn’t match the existing PN and was told my original unit had been superseded and I would be ok to fit the later unit from a second hand car. Found replacement (later unit) on ebay but when I fitted it the passenger window wouldn’t work from either the driver’s side switch or the passenger side switch so no bloody good at all. I swapped the top (switch) assemblies around on the two units (so see if it was just the switch on my old unit) but it made no difference. Found a helpful local volvo man who read my codes using his DICE unit (this was with the original PDM fitted) - codes were PDM 003E Control Module Signal too high AND PDM 0043 Control Module Internal Fault But not really any the wiser as can't find anything online about these codes. So anyone had the same problem - if so did you fix it? Dealer wants £300+ for new PDM and SW load but won't guarantee this will fix it so not a very attractive option! When I try to lock or unlock my 2004 Volvo S40 T5, all the locks work except for the rear driver's door lock. I checked the fuse for the door locks and it was fine. I called two Volvo dealerships to see if I could get this part replace but neither of them could find the part I was asking about and gave me this. 2000-2004 Volvo S40 Door Panel Cover Trim Front Right Passenger RH Sedan 00-04 (Fits: Volvo S40) Pre-Owned. Volvo S40 V50 driver door left side view heated mirror glass 2004. 05-07 Volvo S40 V50 Front Door Control Module Passenger Right 30739011 See more like this. Do I try another 2nd hand module but this time with same PN? Currently understand you can't re-program 2nd hand units to a new car - so 2nd hand units either work or they don't and my first attempt at this didn't! Failing everything (as £300 is too much to fix a problem like this) - anyone ever tried to bypass the window operation on the PDM with a momentary switch (to supply and reverse power to the window motor) and not use any of the position sensors etc in the window motor. Any help appreciated cheers Jools. Jools You have done a lot of work. Did you try to disconnect, clean and reconnect the connector on the harness running from the car body to the front frame of the passneger door it may just be corroded or dirty contact in the connector. It can be done as follows; With the ignition off, open the passenger door as far as possible. Locate the harness going into the front frame of the door. Using a small screw driver gently lift the small lock on the top of the connector at the edge closest to the door frame and pull the connector out. Check the connector for any corrosion or debris and clean with a lint free towel. Apply some silicon dielectric compound to the face of the connector. Keygen token listrik murah. Reinstall the connector by pushing it back into place and the connector lock snaps into place. Start the car and see if it the window works better. The second will be handwritten by me and will be the date of your ceremony. Your resort may require your wedding to have occurred within a specific number of days (30, possibly?) prior to check-in. My 2001 Volvo V70 was vandalized- center console ripped out & air bag module wiring cut, visors ripped out & rear view mirror ripped out. All electronics on the car work however, except those controlled by the DDM. The central locking system ( which includes the trunk hatch) side mirrors & window controls don't work. Individual window controls do work. I suspect the problem is the DDM and has nothing to do with the vandalism, but I don't to drop a few hundred dollars on a new/used one before I'm sure. How can I check to make sure ut is the DDM? Was the fault there before the vandalism?
